Graphic Tee | Mixing simple with glam

T-shirt: Target (sold out) similar here and here| Skirt: H&M (sold out online) similar here| Shoes: JustFab (sold out) similar here and love these |Bag: Kate Spade (sold out), similar budget friendly version here and here |Necklace:Purple Peridot | Bracelets: Purple Peridot | Sunglasses: Old Navy, similar here

Happy hump day everyone! I love graphic shirts because they are versatile and can be dressed up, or dressed down. I think the key to dressing up at-shirt, is statement pieces. Next time you wear a t-shirt, try adding a statement necklace or statement shoes and you will see what a difference it will make :)

I wanted to dress up my celfie tee so I added a flared leather skirt, gladiator heels, and a pop of red. Can we just talk about how hot these gladiator heels are??? I think the shoes really top off this look. They are sold out but you can add them to your wish list to be notified when they re-stock. I bought them from JustFab during their Memorial Day sale and I love them! I must admit, they are not the most comfortable heels I own. Womp, womp! They do not have a platform so my feet were killing me after like 20 steps. These will definitely be worn on special occasions or somewhere where I’ll be sitting most of the time ha! Thanks for reading!

Neon Mix...

Top: H&M (from last year) similar non-embellished here | Skirt: J. Crew | Heels: Charlotte Russe (sold out) similar version here | Bag: Rebecca Minkoff ( sold out in electric yellow) neon pink version here | Necklace: AlDO (old) similar style here

Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend, and got to spend time with their dads for father’s day. We've been getting so much rain in Houston over the past few weeks, so I was glad the weather was lovely this weekend. It seems like the sun is finally here to stay but we will see.

Now on to the outfit...I am totally guilty of buying cute clothing to just be put away in my closet and be forever forgotten. At least that was the case with this H&M shirt until I cleaned out my closet and found it. I promise I ironed it, but by the time we took pictures, the sleeves had wrinkled up-story of my life ha! I thought it would go perfect with this neon pink flared skirt. It is the most pretty neon pink skirt I ever did see. It also comes in black and ivory which would be perfect for work. If you are looking for the perfect flared skirt, search no more! The fit is true to size however, since this was my first “bottom” purchase from J.Crew, I sized up in case it ran small, and it ended up fitting loose in the waist area so I will have to get it altered. I think I came out tucking in my shirt in half of the pictures LOL! I’m sure once I have it altered, it should cinch up my waist and that will no longer be a problem :)

On another note, my son is leaving to Mexico City with my mom next week for five weeks!!! I get so emotional just packing his suitcase because he's never been away from me for a long time. As for me, I have to stay and study for an upcoming nursing exam which I hope goes well. Thanks for stopping by!

Palm Tree Dress...

Dress: H&M (not online) similar here, here, and here | Shoes here, also love these | Clutch: (thrifted) similar here | Necklace: Purple Peridot

When I saw this dress, I knew I had to purchase it! I love that it flares out, and the palm tree print is stunning! It’s definitely something different than what I already have in my closet. I added my own little twist by pairing the dress with lace-up espadrilles instead of high heels, and went with gold accessories. I just love the green and gold combo! I think it would also go great with nude or gold pumps, or brown heeled sandals! To get a fun look, I would pair this dress with pink heels and pink statement earrings!

I was unable to find the dress online but I’ve linked a few dresses that are similar. They also have this print in a “shorts” version which I also purchased and will have a blog post soon. I went to two H&M stores this weekend, and both were fully stocked in this dress. Maybe it’s just not online???

On another note, the sun is finally out in Houston. We had crazy rain for the past two weeks which made it impossible for me to have pictures taken.....changing sub..did you guys get anything during the Memorial Day sales? I got a few things including a Rebecca Minkoff, and a Kate Spade bag. I’m still waiting on a few other items which are delayed due to the weather. I’m very impatient when it comes to waiting on a package so I hope they arrive soon or I will lose my mind ha ha! Thanks for stoping by!
