Parka Vest

White tee: Target , Vest: JustFab, similar here , Jeans: American Eagle , Booties: Forever21 , Bag: Michael Kors , Necklace: Forever21 , Watch: Michael Kors

One thing I love about vests is that they can be worn in spring/summer and transition into fall/winter! I love this one from Justfab. It is sold out in this olive color but it's still available in black . You can search it under "Parka vest" and I've linked a few favorites of mine. Also, I am obsessed with these booties from Forever 21. I bought them in black as well.

I'm so ready for sweater weather! The heat here in Houston is no joke. Last weekend as we were driving to the outlets, there was so much traffic. We thought there was an accident but turns out there was major grass fire and there were firefighters blocking the streets to put out the fire. Anyway tomorrow is Fri-yay, I am so excited for the weekend to come.

White & Denim

Top: here |Shorts: here (on sale)|Shoes: here |Bag: here |Necklace: here |Watch: here |Bracelet: here

Happy Tuesday everyone! I wore this outfit on Saturday to run some errands and I was comfy all day. I really love this tunic! I bought it in 4 colors and its an all year round type of top. It can be worn in the summer with shorts, or it can be worn in the winter with leggings, boots, and a fur vest over it! I really like how it looks dressed down with converse and denim shorts but it will definitely look great dressed up as well. It's a versatile top and the combinations are endless!
Yesterday I started my journey to dropping all these lbs I gained over the past year. I'll be getting a gym membership soon and plan on going to the gym at least 4 times a week. Its going to be a very difficult journey but I have faith in myself. I'll be getting more into details on another blog post. I hope this week flies by like last week did, well at least for me it did :) Thanks for reading!

Tullin' in the city with Shabby Apple

Top: H&M (old) similar here|Skirt: Shabby Apple C/O|Shoes:JustFab, almost identical here
|Clutch: thrifted

Today I've teamed up with Shabby Apple to share how I styled their "Morgan" skirt. If I could "transform" into any skirt, it would be this one from Shabby Apple! It is so ME! I mean it is floral, flared, and my favorite thing about it is the double tulle layer! I got compliments on the skirt from random people when we were shooting this outfit. It's definitely an eye catcher because it is so unique, and it has that vintage look to it. Because the skirt has so much awesomeness going on already, I decided to pair it with a plain red shirt and red heels to compliment the red flowers on it, but there are tons of other ways to style this skirt. In case you are wondering about Shabby Apples sizing, I'd say their clothing is true to size! Mines in a size 8 which is what I typically wear in J.Crew/Nordstrom skirts. Be sure to check out Shabby Apples website! they have beautiful collections from dresses to skirts, to bathing suits, but I must warn'll probably want to purchase everything :)
It feels so good to be back! It has been a while, and I've really missed taking pictures and blogging. I had planned to take some time off from social media to enjoy other things in life but "life" sort of happened and my little break turned into a long one. I went to the doctor a few weeks back because I was having chest pain and shortness of breath and after so many questions, the doctor told me I needed a heart ultrasound to make sure I wasn't having any back flow (when he blood the heart pumps out, falls back in the heart instead of fully pumping out) which freaked me out. I had to wait two weeks to get the ultrasound which made things worse! I freak out, and panic about anything regarding my health especially if its my heart you know? I mean who wouldn't? Anyway, the ultrasound was normal but they did say I was very stressed and need to have a few massage sessions to help reduce stress....I guess that means my hunny has a lot of work to do (ha ha!). But all joking aside, I thank God everything is ok with my health!
